
Allready beeing in Grimstad, Kjetil - the head brewer of Nøgne Ø - asked me to do a guestbrew with him. Together we have been working on a recipe for a pretty special brew.... :-)

Monday the 19th of November I drove to Ørbæk with my good friend Henrik to brew 60 HL of Jackie Brown. The next day she went down with a bad stomach....... :-)
Name the next Mikkeller Pale Ale!!
Mikkeller have decided to brew a Pale Ale for after New Years. All those sweet and heavy X-mas beers makes you drool for light hoppy ales so now it’s the time to get moving. Everything is set for this beer, besides the name and this is where we need your help: Name this beer and win a full case of it when it hits the stores. Only limits are that the name need to be wild and crazy and in line with Mikellers other beer names! The beer will be available in both Denmark, the U.S. and.......?! For the first time ever a Mikkeller beer was avaialable from cask....and what a beer! The video shows Fut - a great friend of Mikkeller - pouring a sample of 'Mikkeller Beer Geek Breakfast Pooh Coffee Dry Hopped Cask Festival Edition 2007' (is this the longest name in the world of a beer??). This special edition festival only version of Beer Geek Breakfast contained freshly ground coffee that had travelled trough the intestinal system of a vietnamese weasel!!!
At this years beer festival in Copenhagen, we released four new beers in our 'festival special serie X'!! All four releases got lots of attention, not least because of Mads Peter annoucing their release........!! :-)
