My 'Viking's Return' got 2nd of 50 at Wetherspoon Real Ale Festival 2008!

Earlier this year I travelled to Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth, North England to brew 60.000 liter of my english amber ale 'Viking's Return'. The beer featured at the pub chain Wetherspoons 'Real Ale Festival' in November. With 50 different beers at the festival 'Viking's Return' got a second spot in the competition, only beaten by Australian Black Wattle from Barons Brewery. Cheers!

Hey congratz on getting #2! My wife was in London at the time of the festival and was chatting with me on the web at various pubs and telling me about the beers. I tried to get her to put some of yours in a plastic bottle to bring me, but she wouldn't have any of it!

It's Christmas here in Japan, and I purchased your All Others Pale and Jackie Brown to have with dinner, looking forward to trying them both! Are you exporting to Japan, or are these 'gray market' purchases? I noticed they didn't have an 'official' Japanese info label...

Cheers and best wishes!
